Paul McGann (the Eighth
Doctor) with "Shada" makers Susannah Harker, James Goss of BBCi and
Jason
Haigh-Ellery of Big Finish. I
liked McGann
in the Doctor Who TV movie; while the movie wasn't as good as some of
us
would have liked, McGann was quite good in it. With the new TV series
now
confirmed, I hope McGann will be given the opportunity to portray the
Doctor
again. Certainly a team-up or two with the new Ninth Doctor is
possible. But wouldn't it be nice if the producers would be willing to
do an
occasional special Eighth Doctor solo episode?
